PhiLaw: An Affective Philippine Law Assistant is a retrieval augmented generative (RAG) AI focused on the 1987 Philippine Constitution and 10 Major Legal Codes, with over 86% Accuracy score validated by Legal Professionals. This application is capable of answering legal inquiries through utilization of LLM, LangChain, and FAISS Vectorstores. It also appropriates its response based on user's emotion, classified using DistilBERT. PhiLaw is a collaborative Thesis Project in fulfillment for the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
